Government Takes Control of Student Loans Under Reconciliation Bill
The Senate began debating the reconciliation (fix it) package on March 23, 2010 and are expected to vote on it later in the week. One proposal in the reconciliation package worth mentioning is a massive overhaul to the student loan programs.
