Southernisms Aplenty

If you want a good laugh, check out the "Southern Aplenty" article in the Hattiesburg American newspaper. The author, Chloe Oliver watched a an episode of the "Real Housewives" that involved a Southern colloquialism calamity. Although she didn't mention the particular offender by name, I happen to watch the Real Housewives of New York myself. Countess Luann deLesseps got into an altercation with another housewife and said she was on me like "white rice." For those of you not from the Southern United States, ya'll might not know that the expression is... "white on rice."
